This antique 15ct gold Albert watch chain weighs 45.87 grams and measures 17.25 inches in length with a 5.25mm curb link width. Each solid link is stamped with crisp. clear marks "15.625", denoting its 15-carat gold content. The chain includes a fixed T-bar (40.5mm long, 3mm thick) and two matching gold dog clips, each approximately 22.5mm in length.
A Birmingham assay mark is present on one link, along with a partially visible date letter believed to correspond to 1893. The T-bar is currently fixed at the centre, allowing the dog clips to be worn at the front for attaching charms or pendants, or reversed for a classic look.
The chain is in very good condition, with only slight stretch to the links. All links remain strong and secure, with minimal thinning. Both dog clips are in excellent working order—secure and fully functional.
